We photograph your special events with the same love, care, and attention to detail we photograph our own family with....And we're a neurodivergent couple/family so if you are too, we gotcha! 

We specialize in working with neurodivergent clients and clients who deal with mental health issues and we get how much anxiety and confusion there can be around trying to plan a wedding, especially if you have relatives pushing you towards a more traditional ceremony, but you want your wedding to highlight all the wonderful, weird, and special things about your relationship. As your photographers, we promise to be super patient and available to answer your questions around planning and photography and to be your biggest, loudest cheerleaders encouraging you to make your wedding uniquely you!

We passionately believe that photography is probably the closest thing we have to time travel. It can transport us to places, people, and moments that have long since passed, bringing back sights, smells (ah breathe that sweet nostalgia, baby), and emotions. We photograph with a modern photojournalistic style, capturing both the traditional wedding day portraits (as well as gorgeous/crazy/artistic/unique couples' portraits and bridal party portraits, you'll proudly hang on your wall), while standing back and letting the day unfold naturally as we capture the myriad of emotions that rise and fall throughout your special day.

We shoot every wedding with 2 photographers and you will always get us (Katie and Doug) as your photographers. Doug and I both come from artistic backgrounds and have a unique and intuitive partnership. Doug is more technically minded and tends be great at figuring out solutions for crazy lighting situations and taking a couple's idea and turning it into a reality. I'm intuitive, empathetic, and emotional and I'm good at "feeling" out and capturing those beautiful little moments (that come and go in the blink of an eye or the click of a shutter) that happen when a bunch of people come together to celebrate love and family. When it comes to editing, I love bold black and whites, vibrant (but not too crazy) colors and making a portrait feel like a work of art.

Doug and I met at Greenfield Village (both working random jobs there for a short time). We got married in Rocky Mountain National Park in October 2019. We have 3 kids together, an almost 6 year old son, Phoenix, a 3 year old daughter, Lilith and a 1 year old daughter, Rhiannon.
